Previously, as Interim CFO of Marstone, Inc., Craig orchestrated a strategic roadmap that secured a prosperous $8 million Series B capital raise and set the company on a path to profitability. He also held a strategic financial consultant role at Public Trust Advisors, contributing significantly to its acquisition by a private equity firm in a nine-figure deal. Craig is currently on the advisory boards of Cloudvisor Wealth and WealthTech Strategy Partners, lending his extensive experience to guide strategy in the evolving landscape of financial technology.

Before that, James was the COO and Vice President of Sales at Alpha Paw, a DTC pet company, where he improved cash flow by reducing supply chain costs and launched new sales channels, which generated $8.5M in annualized sales.

James also served as CFO/COO and Vice President of Sales at TeeTurtle, a privately-held apparel, toy, and game company. There, he increased EBITDA from 4.3% to 22% by growing the wholesale channel and executing lean strategies. He established and grew the wholesale channel from zero to $9.5M per year by forming relationships with global distributors and major retailers, including Target and Walmart.

James holds a deep understanding of financial operations and has a unique ability to implement effective financial strategies. When not working for his clients, James enjoys reading and running, though usually not at the same time. He has run two full marathons in Newfoundland, Canada, and many other half-marathons. Currently, as Founder and President of Tailwater Advisors Inc., Joe provides financial consulting and strategic advice to support companies with growth initiatives and help establish and maintain financial stability. Prior to founding Tailwater, Joe spent 2 years as co-founder and CFO of NubesSoft Inc., a cloud software development company, where he built and maintained all finance and accounting functions and handled most of the other strategic aspects of the business including fundraising, legal, sales, business development, and marketing.
Prior to NubesSoft, Joe spent 2 years as General Manager at Darcy Partners overseeing business development and customer success in the Rockies and Midcontinent regions where he was instrumental in generating over $3.5 million in revenues due to the strength of his professional network and relationships.
