Griffen is an attorney and CPA with more than twenty years of professional experience. She worked in Holland & Hart’s mergers and acquisitions practice until the fall of 2009 when she started Canopy.  Griffen also worked in the audit group of Arthur Andersen before attending law school at American University.

Her background includes 10 years of strategic brand management and business development roles on global Consumer Packaged Goods brands, including Dial®, Campbell's Soup®, and Hallmark. She is a strategic thinker with expertise establishing and enhancing multi-million dollar brand identities, as well as program development/ execution for translation into sales and profit plans.
