BIOGRAPHY
With a deep-rooted passion for helping others, Lindsay has dedicated most of her career to nonprofit work. Upon earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from Montana State University, Lindsay packed up her car and moved to Denver, Colorado. Ever grateful for her natural networking abilities, she quickly found herself in a junior Development position at Denver Children’s Home. Within her first year, she had proven herself to be a gifted fundraiser and trusted member of the team. By the age of 24, Lindsay landed a leadership position as Development Director at Denver Children’s Home. While heading this department, Lindsay honed her skills as she raised $1.3 million annually (approximately 25 percent of the organization’s operating budget).
Lindsay also led the Development Departments of Work Options for Women and Qualistar Colorado. These opportunities expanded her knowledge and understanding of community need to include job training for disadvantaged individuals and the importance of early childhood education and ongoing teacher training. A highlight of Lindsay’s career was the pro- curement of a $1.2M grant from the Colorado Health Foundation to improve outdoor learning spaces for children age 0-5.
To date, Lindsay has raised over $8M for Colorado nonprofits, effectively improving the lives of thousands of individuals across the state. Most recently, her keen understanding of the nonprofit sector and unique experience with fundraising led to her serving as Philanthropy Advisor to the CEO of Punch Bowl Social. During this time, Lindsay also supported the Marketing Team with senior-level copywriting and creative content development.
