BIOGRAPHY
Emily Oliver is an innovative problem solver, analytical thinker, and efficient executor. A seasoned professional in business strategy, corporate finance, and operations, Emily has a breadth of experience working across nearly all business verticals. Currently, as CEO & Founder of Guardian Biosciences LLC, Emily has experiences building businesses from the ground up and knows what it takes to get things done.
Prior to Guardian Biosciences, Emily spent two years with project44, a Chicago-based SaaS startup, working as a Corporate Development Associate and then Engagement Manager. During her first six weeks at project44, Emily led the company’s first M&A activity with a successful $26M acquisition, and integration, of a Danish technology company.
Before joining project44, Emily spearheaded a global footprint rationalization program at STATS LLC; she coordinated leadership from Accounting, Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Engineering, and Operations to consolidate 12 offices in 10 countries to a single regional headquarters in Ireland. She was able to execute the program within 12 months of initiation.
In addition to her proven skills in business transformation, Emily has experience in business
strategy, quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and cost management. Emily graduated with an MBA in Quantitative Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University.
